Where sidewalks are offered in Starkville, they are utilized by runners, bikers, dog walkers, etc. I support any ordinance that encourages sidewalk development because of the safety and quality of life they add to our community. I would like to hear more about the process from some of the committee members themselves, but the results suggests that a group consisting of concerned citizens and local experts can draft an ordinance that benefits the entire community.
