Linkedin helps you discover the professional experience and expertise of those in you extended network and to send requests for advice, services, jobs, and anything else you can think of. Every month, new young professionals are moving to Starkville and attending the SYP Socials. As our group grows it becomes more and more difficult to meet everyone in the room. I still don’t know what most of you do, and I would like the chance to tell more of you what I do. Imagine if you could just write out all that stuff on your name tag? Well, that is what Linkedin is all about.

You will notice in my list of groups that a SYP group has been set up by one of our members. As a member of a “group” you can join discussions, post news items, and use the jobs board. There are many groups available to fit your specific interests and associations.
